“Interaction is a subtle process of adjusting what we say or how we behave to the perceived copresence of another. From this co-presence arises a special kind of mutuality.” (Eva Illouz)**

In my work I document casual encounters, intimate actions and moments shared with male strangers, focusing on the presence and complexity of the interaction that develops between us. The resulting picture is one of perpetual search, through which I question the authenticity of passion and its very existence in the framework of such encounters.

In parallel, I document my father's Aerial Reserve where mechanics are working on aviation objects. In this space, I examine the relationship between humans (men in particular) and the machine.

In both these arenas, I observe and explore physical functions and motor abilities as they are expressed through the bodies of both men and planes. My voice takes on a major role, directing and producing these interactions; yet the power balance is complex and I find myself repeatedly dependent on the collaboration of others. Ultimately, the existing potential remains in the form of unrealized energy.
